Rev. Donald P. Rohrs

REV. DONALD PAUL ROHRS, 91, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014. Born Sept. 6, 1922, in Hicksville, Ohio, he was a son of Fred and Bertha Rohrs. He graduated from Hicksville High School in 1940 and Fort Wayne Bible College in 1948. As a boy, Don received Jesus Christ as his Savior. He felt the call of the Lord to become a minister. He was ordained a minister in the Missionary Church and served in Hawaii, Pennsylvania and Indiana. Don is survived by his beloved wife, Faythe Ringenberg Rohrs; daughters, Donna (Brad) Smith of Redlands, Calif., Ruth Markey of Forest, Va., Elizabeth (Jeff) Shultz of Willow Street, Pa., and Gwendolyn (John) Buck of Elkhart, Ind.; and grandchildren, Brian Markey, Christine Smith, Ryan Shultz, and Brannon Buck. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan Markey; and son-in-law, Kevin Markey.
