DONALD F. TOBIN, 86, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at his residence. Born in Chicago, Ill., he graduated from Central Catholic High School and was a World War II Navy veteran, having served in the Pacific. Upon discharge from the Navy, he went to work for the Bursley Co. continuing his sales career with Food Marketing and Edward Don Co., retiring in 1993. Surviving are his daughter, Claire (Bill) Pynchon; sons, Phil Tobin and Paul Tobin; grandchildren, John, Emma, Chloe, and Danny; and brother, Ray of San Diego, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzann. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne.
