Elaine Poling, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 24, 2015. Born on February 11, 1932, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Ringenberg and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her children, David Poling, Donald Poling, Debbie DeMeritt and Diane (Greg) Fisher; seven grandchildren and ten great-granchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Poling; siblings, Elmer Ringenberg, Helen Knuth, Esther Burhop, Edward Ringenberg and Dorothy Zettelmier.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday January 30 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling will also be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm, Thursday January 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
