Elaine Poling, 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 24, 2015. Born on February 11, 1932, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Ringenberg and was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her children, David Poling, Donald Poling, Debbie DeMeritt and Diane (Greg) Fisher; seven grandchildren and ten great-granchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Poling; siblings, Elmer Ringenberg, Helen Knuth, Esther Burhop, Edward Ringenberg and Dorothy Zettelmier.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday January 30 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling will also be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm, Thursday January 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Kilian Hill Rd SW, Lilburn, GA, 30047 or Heartland Hospice, Fort Wayne.
