Franklin Charles Mazziotti, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born to the late Cataldo and Mary (Ladwig) Mazziotti on Tuesday, August 16, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Franklin spent many years perfecting his craft as a shoe cobbler at Pell's Shoe Repair. In his free time, Franklin was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and spending time in his garden. Franklin shared his love of fishing with his grandchildren, especially Dino who carries on this passion and also with his friends, including Brady Long. While an outdoorsman at heart, Franklin was also a man who enjoyed cards, specifically his euchre nights with Eddie Long. He had a love for animals and when he walked into a room he made people smile. Franklin found the Lord within this last year and was devoted. He is survived by his life partner, Michelle Wittekind; daughter, Charlene Mazziotti; step-daughter, Rachelle Fisher; grandchildren, Chances Avery, Dino, Rosalie, and Francesca Mazziotti Flores, and Drew Eichel; and sister, Frances (Taher) Master. Franklin was also preceded in his passing his sister, Barbara Smith.
