Gregory A. "Greg" Swain

Gregory A. "Greg" Swain, 75, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1948, in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Robert and Emily (Kelley) Swain. He was a graduate of South Side High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for more than 33 years at BF Goodrich as a final finisher. He was a member of American Legion Post 47, American Legion Post 449, and the F.O.E. Surviving family include his wife, Gloria Swain; brother, James "Jim" (Dee) Swain; children, Kim (Ty) Koppenhofer, Nancy (Derik) Wesley, and Eric (Christina) Swain; four grandchildren; stepchildren, Rick (Kris) Stewart and Dena (Mike Cochran) Smith; four step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren. Graveside service with military rites will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Lindenwood Cemetery in the Bohn Chapel, 2324 West Main Street, Fort Wayne. Inurnment will follow services on the grounds of Lindenwood Cemetery. Immediately following will be a gathering of family and friends at American Legion Post 47.
