

Ha Tu Thach, 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. Ha Tu was born on June 8, 1930 in Mon Cay, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam, immigrating to the United States in 1991. She worked as a homemaker, caring for her family and home. She will be remembered as a devoted mother who prioritized her children's education and getting her children safely to the United States from Vietnam. She greatly loved her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, bargain shopping, and eating good food. Surviving family include her children, Loan Kim (Tu Huynh) Trinh, Thoa Kim Trinh, Ba Kim (Anne Linh) Trinh, Phung Kim (Quang Hang) Hang, and Thanh Kim (Dung Phan) Trinh; grandchildren, Mary Trinh, LiMin Hang Fields, Anna Hang Verenes, Tom Trinh, Michael Hang, Dalena Trinh, and Lillian Trinh; great grandchildren, Lucas, Eli, and Emerson Verenes, Harry and Simon Fields, and Amara Xuereb; and one sister and one brother. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Che Nung Tchic and Hong Che; and two brothers. A funeral service will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with a visitation following the services until 2:45 pm.
