HELEN ESTHER GREGORY, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at her home. Born Feb. 23, 1920, in Friendswood, Texas, Helen was graduated of Friends Bible College, Haviland, Kan. before attending Marion College (Indiana Wesleyan). She worked for years with her husband on their Indiana dairy farm and later worked at Heckman Bindery, North Manchester. After retirement, Helen and her husband traveled widely throughout the U.S. "Helen was a gracious woman who avoided attention while quietly serving people around her." She is survived by her sons, Mike (Debby) Gregory and Doug (Becky) Gregory; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Gil (Emily) Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gregory; parents, Ralph and Marva (Coppock) Jackson; and brothers, Ralph and Sheldon Jackson. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Grace Point Church on Mayhew Road, in Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
