James (Jimmy) Edward Davis

James (Jimmy) Edward Davis, 81, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. Born on April 2, 1940, he was the son of the late Haywood and Ruth Davis. For the last fifteen years, Jimmy has been a member of the Koelper household. Rejoicing in the knowledge that Jimmy is in the arms of his Heavenly Father are Larry, Shelly, Nathan (Margaret), Rebecca, and Andrew. A Funeral Service is being held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1126 South. Barr Street, Fort Wayne), with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne). Memorial donations in Jimmy's honor my be directed to Friendship Ministry, a ministry for adults with developmental disabilities, at Friendship Ministry Holy Cross Lutheran Church (3425 Crescent Ave, Fort Wayne).
