

Jayne M. Miller, 49, of Fort Wayne, Indiana entered into eternal life with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family. Jayne was born on November 11, 1974 in Fort Wayne, a daughter of Omer and Sherrie (Bradford) Liechty. She graduated from Leo High School and earned her Master’s degree in Education from Purdue Fort Wayne. She was a 2nd grade elementary school teacher at Blackhawk Christian School, Fort Wayne, where she had a life-changing impact on every student and family that she came into contact with. Jayne was a member at Harvest Fellowship Church, Fort Wayne where she was active in a number of ways and will be remembered there for her passionate faith, kind heart and willingness to serve in any way to lift up the body of the Church. Jayne had a servant's heart for missions and missionaries. She traveled to Jamaica and Haiti, on short term missions trips with the church and lived in Venezuela for a year teaching at a missionary school. She was very involved with a number of local service based organizations including Operation Christmas Child, Special Olympics, Kate's Kart, Destiny Rescue, and World Vision International. Jayne also had a soft heart for animals and loved all of God's creatures. She will forever be admired as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and faithful friend to all who knew her. Surviving family include her husband, Sean Miller; daughter, Jaysa (Ryan) Bakle; son, Garrison (fiance, Katie Clem) Miller; and her parents, Omer and Sherrie. She was preceded in passing by her brother, Jason Liechty; grandparents, Omer and Mary Liechty, Sr., Ed Brandenberger, and Betty and Ted Brandenberger-Bradford. There will be a celebration of life service for Jayne at 10:00 am on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Harvest Fellowship Church, 1001 West Wallen Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the church. Burial will be in Yaggy Cemetery, rural Grabill, Indiana.
