JERALDINE ELAINE "JERRIE" CARBONI, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Jerrie was a dedicated employee at International Harvester for over 10 years. She enjoyed being a part of the "Breakfast Gang" at Mister Coney, playing bingo, and spending time outside taking care of her flowers and her yard. "Jerrie's most treasured moments were spent with her family and grandchildren; she will be greatly missed". She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Daniel) Krinn of New Haven; her son, Brian (Dana) Carboni of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Logan, Tony, Lauren, and Vinny; her sisters, Judy Closson of Belmont, N.C., Joan (Dan) Harris and Jeanne (David) Hertig, both of Harlan, Ind.; and she was the beloved "Aunt Pete" of a nephew, several nieces, and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marian (Thimlar) Boger; Uncle and Aunt, Ralph and Mable Thimlar; brother-in-law, Jon Closson and niece, Kim (Kimmie) Eicher. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial at Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Ind.
