Jessie M. Rowland Hill

JESSIE M. HILL, 84, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011. Born Sept. 11, 1927, in Calloway County, Ky., she lived in Ft. Myers, Fla. for 21 years, before returning to Fort Wayne three months ago. She was a homemaker and an avid golfer, winning several golf championships in her lifetime. Survivors include daughters, Barbara K. (Bob) Gafford of Mansfield, Tenn., Nancy J. (Gary) Eisen of Overland, Mo., Vicki J. (Douglas) Schultz of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Diana (Rod) Harmon of Robinson, Ill.; stepson, Dennis (Beverly) Hill of Harriman, Tenn.; two sisters, Louise Bray of Murray, Ky. and Carolyn Garland of Union City, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, Travis (Amy) Patton, Tracey Schultz, Jessica Schultz, Christina (Ron) Burnette, Lori (Jeff) Henderson, Linda (Ron) Noelke, Vicki (Matt) Eads, Tori Eisen, Stacey (Ty) Gill, Damon (Darlene) Hill; 10 great grandchildren, Jake, Cole, Dalton, Cade, Mitchell, Addison, Tewsdae, Isabella, Charlotte and Malorie. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and soul mate of 45 years, Brant W. Hill; one son, Charles M. Wallace; parents, Charlie and Cora Clark Rowland; four brothers, C.T., Robert, Joe Pat, and Hubert Rowland; and three sisters, Nadean Hendon, Jackie Ellis and Wanda Willoughby.
