Joe Flores, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away on December 27, 2016. Born on March 19, 1946, in Paulding, Ohio, he was a son of the late Guadalupe and Petra Flores. He retired from BAE Systems in 2011 after several years of service and was a DJ for more than 32 years.
He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Della; son, Bryan Flores; grandson, Zachary Flores; siblings, Lola, Lucy, Gracie, Sue, Tulip, Jackie, Lupe and Angel; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Delena Flores; and siblings, Pauline, Margie and Janie.
Funeral service will be 1pm Monday, January 2, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10am to 1pm, prior to service. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne, Ohio. Memorial donations may be given to the SPCA or to the family.
