Judith Lee Becker

JUDITH LEE BECKER, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born Oct. 30, 1936, in Garrett, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Carl and Beryl (Davis) Bonnett. She was a Registered Nurse for 39 years and retired in 1999. Judith was a member of The Rock Church and also a member of Westwood Fellowship Church, Woodburn, Ind. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for her family. She found great joy in painting and gardening. Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Shari (Greg) Hughes of New Haven, Ind., Vicki (Roger) Dilley of Ashley, Ind. and Valeri (Brent) Hurst of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn Coomer-Dagger; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by husband, Donald, son, Bradley Becker; brother, Paul Bonnett; and sister, Mary Jean Custer. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at The Rock Church, 6638 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the church. Burial in Westwood Fellowship Cemetery, Woodburn, Ind. Memorial donations may be given to The Rock Church.
