Justin Kalinowski, 77, of New Haven passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025. Justin was born in Charleston, West Virginia on March 24, 1948, a son of the late Walter and Evelyn (Smith) Kalinowski. Justin worked for Midwestern Electric as a lineman for over 42 years. He was a member of IBEW for 53 years. Justin enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family, and tinkering. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jan Kalinowski; daughters, Rebecca (Lopaka) Radona, Niky Jordan, Alisha (Rich) Shiveley; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Jazee. Justin was also preceded in passing by his brother, Steve Kalinowski; son-in-law, Matthew Kever; and his cat, Pancake. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery, 15535 Lincoln Highway E, New Haven, Indiana 46774. A celebration luncheon to follow the service at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835. Contributions in Justin's memory may be made to the Veteran's Family Brigade or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
