Kathleen E. English, 74, of Fremont, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center in Angola. She was born on November 19, 1947 in Fort Wayne to the late Richard and Ruth (Denney) Rossington. She married James M. English on August 17, 1968 in Fort Wayne. He survives in Fremont. Mrs. English worked for ITT in electronics repair. Kathleen loved their home on Little Otter Lake. She was often found boating and fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing Euchre. Also surviving are sons, Tim (Mindy) English, Terry English, and Richard English; grandchildren, Chelsea English, Timmy English, and Braydon English; step-son, James (Terri) Sowards; step-grandchildren, Jamee Lynn Hall, Kayla O’Connor, and Jacob Sowards; and siblings, Dave (Peggy) Rossington, Debbie (Lynn) Blaine, James Rossington. Kathleen is also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Rossington and Tom Rossington. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 12 PM with calling from 10 AM to 12 PM at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 Saint Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835.
