Kenneth Blake "KB" Young II

Kenneth Blake “KB” Young II, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on February 23, 2015. Born on February 16, 1951, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Norma Jean (Grote) Young. A member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, he was the owner of Young’s Greenhouse and Flower Shop, which has been in his family since 1873. He is survived by his wife Sandy Young; children, Brian (Carrie) Young, Blake (Aimee) Young and Andrea (John) Dawkins; granddaughters, Sophia and Lydia; sisters, Sandra Rutter and Kathy Dennis; and his loving dog Lucy. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Laura Jackson. Funeral service will be 11am Tuesday March 3, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Monday March 2, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
