Lois Jean Massucci, 83, passed away on February 4, 2021. She was born on April 7, 1937 in Harlan, IN, the daughter of the late Dorwin and Bertha Amstutz.
Lois enjoyed watching sports at Concordia High School. She spent most weekends at the lake, spending time with friends, and pontoon rides. Lois and her husband enjoyed their time traveling and seeing new places. She was able to complete her bucket list before her passing, visiting Nashville, San Antonio and Wisconsin Dells, where she and her husband had honey-mooned 60 years before. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, where she volunteered her time, and was active with the Red Hat Society. Lois is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Massucci; children, Jeffrey (Diana) Massucci, and Patti Massucci; grandchildren, Daniel, Jacob, and Tessa Massucci; and sister, Marilyn Ruppert.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church (7710 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815), with calling one hour prior. The funeral service can be viewed via livestream on St. Peter's YouTube chanel by visiting www.youtube.com/StPetersfw
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 also at the church. Burial will take place in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lois' honor may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Concordia Educational Foundation - Massucci Endowment.
