

Louis was born on February 26, 1932, in Fort Wayne. He proudly graduated from North Side High School in 1952 and went on to serve his country as a cook in the United States Army.
In 1953, Louis married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Junk, beginning a devoted partnership that spanned more than seven decades.
Following his military service, Louis built a lifelong career in electronics repair, becoming one of the first licensed electronic technician in Indiana, owning and operating his own business. He retired in 2018 from Diller’s TV Service, closing a chapter marked by hard work, integrity, and dedication to his customers and community.
Louis was a proud long-time member of Trier Ridge Community Church, where his faith and fellowship were an important part of his life.
He is survived by his children: Keith (Deb) Diller, LuAnne Yorke, and Laurie (Gordon) Springer; his brother Allen (Sandi) Diller; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Freda Diller, and his siblings James, Donald, Larry, Eugene, Fredonna, John, and Jack.
Louis found joy in photography, playing chess and euchre, treasure hunting on Florida beaches, and taking long bike rides with his many grandchildren. Above all, he cherished time spent with family and leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and quiet strength.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Trier Ridge Community Church, 7501 Hessen Cassel Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
There is a nursery available at the church for any children that may need to utilize it.
Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trier Ridge Community Church.
