M. COSETTE SHEETS, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away late Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence. Born Aug. 30, 1923, in Huntington County, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Lucius and Elva Sheets. She graduated from Rock Creek High School, in Huntington County, and International Business College. She retired from the accounting department at Tokheim Corporation after 40 years of service. She loved to travel and was an avid photographer. She had traveled all seven continents of the world. She had been a member of the Tokheim Investment Club and the Quarter Century Club as well as the Fort Wayne Camera Club, Fort Wayne Women's Golf League, and the Breakfast Bunch. Surviving are nieces, Brenda (Roland) Knepper of Roanoke and Nancy (Edwin) Marroquin of Aurora, Ill.; and a great-nephew, Nick Custer of Elgin, Texas. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Sumner Sheets. Memorial service is 1 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the donor's favorite animal care agency.
