Marguerite Aileen Wisman, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at Woodview Health Care Center. She was born in Fort Wayne on June 16, 1927 and worked with her husband for several years when he founded Wisman's Appliance over 50 years ago. She was a member of the Churubusco United Methodist Church, where she volunteered at the food band. She previously had been a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir and Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church where she and her husband taught Sunday School. Surviving are her daughters, Jacqueline Sue (David) Hatch, Kathleen Ann Alexander and Caroline Violet Jones, all of Fort Wayne; son, Bruce Poe (Deborah) Wisman of Angola; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, William (Gloria) Koorsen of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, who died in 2010; son, Bill, who died earlier this year; parents, George and Violet Koorsen; sister, Jean Carol Disler and brothers, George and James Koorsen. Funeral service is 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling two hours prior to the service. Private burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
