Marilyn Ann. Feichter, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 21, 2016. Born on August 29, 1927, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Emrich. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne; she retired from Summit Bank after more than 20 years of service and was a member of the Alpha Chapter of Kappa Sigma Tau Sorority. Marilyn was a beautiful “Fancy” lady with a great smile and a heart of gold. She will be missed for her great cooking, family gatherings and her random quick wit.
She is survived by her daughter, Holly (Tom) Bill; step-son, Patton (Anne) Feichter; sister, Joyce Zimmanck; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Feichter; son, Stephen Feichter; and six siblings.
Funeral service will be Noon, Monday March 28, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 202 West Rudisill Blvd, Fort Wayne, with calling a half hour prior. Calling will also be held from 2 to 6pm, Saturday, March 26, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Ashton Creek Nursing Home.
