Mary Alice Yoder, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully into Jesus’s arms on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born May 14, 1931, in Woodburn, Ind., she was a daughter of the late John and Ruby (Jordan) Ringenberg. Mary was an RN at Parkview Memorial Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1996, and was also a volunteer at Science Central. She enjoyed helping people and always putting the needs of others before her own. She is survived by her son, Tim Yoder of Fullerton, CA; daughters, Ruby Parks of Hamilton, TX, Sandra (John) Noble of Woodburn, Ind., and Cathy (Paul) Roark of New Haven Ind.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Andrew Yoder and Charles Smith; son, Larry Yoder; three brothers; and one sister. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial at Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Ind.
