

Nancy Jean (Bobilya) Doehrmann, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 9, 2016, at North Woods Village Memory Care, of Fort Wayne. Born on January 20, 1927, in Fort Wayne; She was a 1944 graduate of North Side High School; she spent most of her life as a homemaker; volunteered in the Holy Cross library for several years and enjoyed history, playing bridge, traveling and spending time at Clear Lake; and was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa McCoy, Julie (Mark) Campati and Janet (Don) Steager, all of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Daniel McCoy, Amanda Campati, Kristie Cooley and Amber Steager; three great-grandchildren; brother, Donald A. Bobilya; and sister, Sally A. Mondhank. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd M. “Lefty” Doehrmann; parents, Louis and Linda Bobilya; brothers, Sandy and James A. Bobilya; sisters, Mary Lou Johnson and Roselyn E. Korn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10am Friday July 15, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1505 Bethany Lane, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling will also be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Thursday July 14, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to North Woods Village Memory Care or The Alzheimer’s Association or Gethsemane Lutheran Church.
