Nancy J.C. Shankle, 29, of New Haven, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia on January 13, 1996. Nancy loved reading, listening to music, playing xbox and watching Harry Potter and Stranger Things. She was full of life and loved making people laugh. Nancy is survived by her parents, Douglas (Katherine) Miller; bonus dad, Jimmy Volland; brother, Brandon Shankle; papa, John (Jean) Pope; her ride or die, special aunt Mandy; many loving cousins, aunts, uncles; best friend, Julia; and many more. She was preceded in passing by her loving grandparents, Gene (Elsie) Bolen. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at the Chapel of Praise Church, 626 Spillson Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803, with visitation one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Cemetery Beckley, West Virginia. Contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the family.
