

Phyllis A. Dull, 75, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on June 18, 2021. Born on October 21,1945 in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. Compton and Mable D. Compton.
Phyllis had a strong faith in God and was a devout member of Life Bridge church. She was known for her strong relationship with Christ and her family. Phyllis had a smile that always lit up a dark room. She was a homemaker, an amazing mother and grandmother. Phyllis was known for accepting everyone with open arms and made sure no one went without. She was an avid reader. She loved to read scriptures and answer questions for those who wanted to know more about God. Phyllis was the Mantle of our family. She always made sure that everyone knew that family came first. She leaves behind many priceless memories with her family and friends. Phyllis leaves to cherish and continue in her legacy her brothers, Bob Compton and Roger Compton; 2 daughters, Katherine Dull, and Kim Dull; 1 grandson; 4 granddaughters; 4 great-granddaughters; and 8 great-grandsons, plus many more. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Dull; son, Kevin Dull; Daughter, Karen Dull; grandson, Joseph Logan; brothers, Wayne Compton and Lorin Compton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Life Bridge Church (12719 Corbin Road, Fort Wayne), with Pastor Bill Campbell officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home (6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne).
