PHYLLIS A. SCHNELLBACH, 76, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Emeritus of Fort Wayne. Born Sept. 29, 1936, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late William and Ida (David) Bultemeier. She retired in the early 1990's from G.E. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her stepchildren, David Schnellbach of Adams Lake and Stephanie (Mike) Helgesen of Auburn; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Alice Seemann of Wooster, Ohio and Wilma (Willard) Meyer of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Saundra Bultemeier of Auburn; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1988; and brother, Robert Bultemeier, in 2001. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling two hours prior. The Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
