She worked at L.S. Ayres for 26 years and enjoyed doing counted cross stitch, gardening, reading and volunteering in the gift shop at Golden Years. A long-time member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, she was president of DCCW and the Rosary Sodality as well as serving as chairman for many fish fries and working in the food pantry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Michael.
Surviving are her sister, Virginia Wolf, Fort Wayne; nieces Rebecca (Albert) Jacquay, Bloomington, IN; Donna (Mickey) Myers, La Jolla, CA; Richard (Andrea) Wolf, Grabill, IN; Lisa (Bruce) Miller, Zionsville, IN; along with many great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews; and Diane Rodocker, a long-time neighbor and friend.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm on October 14 at Saint Anne Communities, 1900 Randallia Dr., with visitation one hour prior . Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Calling is at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 13.
