Robert J. "Bob" Dreyer, 93, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Bob was born on May 5, 1931 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Arnold and Mary (Shue) Dreyer. He worked as an assistant foreman as well as in quality control at Zollner Pistons before retiring in 1991. During his retirement years, he enjoyed working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He also enjoyed spending time fishing, bowling, playing cards, and shuffleboard. Bob also enjoyed being a winter bird, going to Florida for the past 30 years. Surviving are is his significant other, Janice Gourley; sons, John Dreyer and Kevin Chester; and 23 grand and great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Marilyn Dreyer; and daughters, Becky, Kathy, and Cindy. Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
