Robert Douglas Ferguson II, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on July 21, 2016. Born on June 28, 1949, in Clinton, Indiana; he was a member of Pathway Community Church, of Fort Wayne; he proudly served his country in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and retired in 2014 from FedEx after more than 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Lan Ferguson; parents, Robert and Helen Ferguson; children, Douglas III, Shannon, Scott, Lisa, Amy and Nicholas; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Walters; and brother, Greg Ferguson.
A celebration of Doug’s Life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, July 30, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Pathway Community Church.
