
ROBERT A. KRAMER, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 13, 1921, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Raymond and Agnes (Ehinger) Kramer. In 1952 he married Joan Wunderlin. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He had been employed at Bowser Co., Fruehauf Corporation, and Peter Eckrich & Sons, where he retired from in 1985. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, and had attended Central Catholic High School. He was a die-hard Cubs fan. He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Laura Kramer, Amy (Monte) Winebrenner, Beth (Sam) Nagel, and Judy (Marty) Beck; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Mary) Kramer; brother-in-law, Jerry (Reine) Wunderlin; and nieces and nephews as well as his special friends at Cosmos restaurant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan, in 2004; brothers, Fred, Bill, and Gene Kramer; and sister, Betty Foellinger. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, with visitation one hour prior. The Rev. Father Mark Gurtner officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with a vigil service at 5 p.m. Burial at the Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Masses, Matthew 25, or St. Andrew's Soup Kitchen.
