Sarah Ellen Clelland

Sarah Ellen Clelland, 88, of Fort Wayne went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. Sarah was born February 22, 1936 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Oather and Katie Belle (Greer) Everman. After graduating high school in West Virginia, Sarah moved to Washington, D.C. where she was began her long employment with the Federal Government. Sarah loved to travel and got to visit many different locations around the world, but the mountains held a special place in her heart. There was just something about being in nature that spoke to her. She enjoyed reading, quilting, shopping and spending time with friends and family. She was brought up in the Nazarene Church and most recently attended Grace Point. Throughout her journey following the Lord, she would serve on several missions trips. Sarah is survived by her children, David (Terry) Clelland of Martinsville, Donna (Troy) Lengacher of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Holly (Jon) Muzzillo, Greg (Chelsey) LeMonte, Morgan (Jacob) Wheeler and Jacob LeMonte and two great grandchildren, Reece and Ellie. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Beasley. In keeping with Sarah’s wishes, cremation will take place. The family will celebrate her life privately in a very special way at a later date.
