He was born in Defiance, Ohio on February 27, 1956, a son of Kenneth and Melba Wegman.
Wayne loved coloring, picking acorns, leafs, and sticks. He also enjoyed making paper chains, playing basketball, folding laundry and being outside. He also loved wearing his Valentine's glasses.
A celebration of Wayne's life will be held at 1 pm on March 31, 2026 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46835 with calling one hour prior.
