Betty Virginia McLaughlin

Betty Virginia McLaughlin, age 95, born in Shippensburg, PA passed away on December 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Lautsbaugh and her loving husband of 65 years CMSGT Donald "Mac" McLaughlin and their son Richard McLaughlin.

Betty graduated from high school and married Mac in 1946 and they began their life as an Air Force family, traveling many places before retiring in Colorado Springs. Wherever she went she made a lifetime of friends.

Along with taking care of her own children Betty enjoyed working at child care centers.

In retirement Betty and Mac enjoyed Air Force football games, fishing and there cabin near Gunnison.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia (Richard) Kanaga and Joanne (Mike) Cardi; grandchildren Lori (Rodney) Cline and Rob (Kendra) Kanaga and great grandchildren ; Katie, Karlie, Reed, Brandon, Hayley.

A celebration of life will be held January 6, 2022 at 11am at Dove Witt Family Mortuary with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery at 1pm.
