CHARLES B. HAMNER, JR., passed away December 14, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
Charles was born December 9th 1936, in Jamesville, N.Y. and moved his family to Colorado Springs in 1971
He was employed by Stratmoor Hills Water department and then Widefield Water Department. After retirement, he was employed by Wal-Mart, on 8th Street. He was also a dedicated Volunteer Fireman with Stratmoor Hills Fire Department for many years.
Charles was preceded in death by his Parents, Charles B. Hamner, Sr. and Doris C. Hamner. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judith A. Hamner, five daughters, Kathyrn Farrell, Kandyce Stewart, Kellyne Evans, Koryta Bauer, and Karyla Villa, also one son Charles B. Hamner, III, three sisters Wilma Grinnell, Lois Smith and Betty Waldron. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren and two Great-grandchildren, soon to be born.
Charles (Chuck) was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed these sports with his son and sons-in-law. He was also a Great Bronco Fan.
He was a loving and dedicated Husband, and Father. And he will be missed by all.
