Daniela Kennon Schmisek, 64, Fountain, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, December 10, 2018. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Dove-Witt in Fountain, CO.
Daniela was born on October 24, 1954 in Erlangen, Germany. She was the only daughter of Jessie Donald (JD) and Danijela (Mak) Keenon. She was raised in Fountain, CO where she graduated from Fountain High School. She later graduated from Regis University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the top of her class. On December 31, 1982 she married Gerald Schmisek and together had one daughter. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader for many years, reading, crocheting, gardening, and being a grandmother.
She is survived by her mother, Danijela Gray, Fountain; husband of 35 years, Gerald, Fountain; daughter, Jessica (Thomas) Ward, Grand Rapids, MI; beloved granddaughter, Alicia Sutter, Grand Rapids, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
Daniela is preceded in death by her father, JD.
