Doris Elena Ferris, 88, passed away on January 17, 2026. She was born on April 15, 1937, in Panama. Doris was a dedicated hairdresser for many years, operating her own salon from her home. She had a passion for trying new things, which led her to take judo classes, ultimately achieving her black belt and winning several trophies. Doris was also talented in making porcelain dolls and frequently took classes to explore various hobbies.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Duane Ferris. She is survived by Vickie Edilma Isham of Georgia, Rolando Alberto Belloso Ferris of Washington, Judy Evelia Ferris of Colorado, and Doris Elena Ferris Jr. of Colorado.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 am at Dove Witt Family Mortuary, located at 6630 S. US HWY 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817. Doris will be laid to rest with her husband Ralph at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
