She was married to Edward Kendall on July 13, 1957. Dorothy was a military wife and Edward retired after 28 years of service to Widefield, CO. Dorothy was a homemaker who provided a warm and loving home for her children and her husband.
She is survived by her two daughters, Suzanne Freyre of Colorado Springs, CO and Lynda Williams of Dorothy, NJ; brother Fred Richardson; two granddaughters, Valarie Freyre and Nicole Williams and her great-grandson Conner Freyre-Leoni. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward and her parents Leland and Mildred Richardson.
Memorial Services for Dorothy will be held on Friday July 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. Hwy 85/87 Fountain, CO. Inurnment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at a later time.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or Pikes Peak Hospice.
