Edward Greer passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 95. Ed served in the Merchant Marines during the final year of WWII. He then joined the Air Force and served in Korea as a tail gunner on the B-29. He retired from the Air Force as a Master Sargent after serving 21 years. He then moved his family to California where he worked as an Engineer for Hughes Aircraft.
Ed and his late wife Donna were married 63 years and had three children. Ed is survived by his children: William (Kathleen) Greer, Karen Greer and Miranda (Chris) Bly, three grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80925
