Felix Gonzales

Felix Gonzales, 84, passed away November 29, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was the widower of Josephine Gonzales; they shared 60 years of marriage together. Born in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of Feliciano and Sophia Gonzales. He graduated from Arizona State University and was a Professor of Social Work at CSU Pueblo for 26 years. Felix was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church. He enjoyed family meals and being a musician. He will be remembered for his jokes, and his faith to God and his family. Felix is survived by his children Danny (Susan) Gonzales, Amy (Gilbert) Jaime, and Ricardo (Kristy) Gonzales; his 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother John Gonzales, and a number of nieces, nephews, and close friends. Felix was preceded in passing by his parents Feliciano and Sophia Gonzales, brothers Jose and Joel Gonzales, and his wife Josephine Gonzales.

A rosary will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 9:30am, with funeral mass to follow at 10am at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. Felix will be laid to rest with military honors at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 2pm.
