

Ingeburg Marie Charlotte Friedrich Martinez was born on July 3, 1925 in Chemnitz, Germany and went to Heaven on November 3, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband: Pat B. Martinez SFC (Ret.); mother: Emilie, Auguste, Charlotte Busch; father: Eduard, Ernst, Alexander, Otto, Hans Friedrich; Inge is survived by her childern: Uta I. Brooks, Pattie I. Galarza, Jimmy P. Martinez MAJ (USAR) and wife Patricia, Carmen J. Lusk and husband Daryl CSM (Ret.), and Terry M. Martinez LTC (Ret.) and wife Suzan. Grandchildren: Robert, Tanya, TJ, Amber, JR, Lisa, Daryl Jr, and Alexander. Great Grandchildren Keagan, Hailey, Zachary, Tyler, Hunter, Sarita and Jade. Inge was a homemaker and wife to Pat B. Martinez in his career as a soldier in the US Army. She worked and retired as a head checker from Duckwall’s Department Store. Inge was an avid volunteer to VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3917 in support of soldiers, airmen and seamen alike. Her volunteer service and contribution went unyielding. Inge was an honorary member to Paralyzed Veterans of America with 27 years of support. She was a member to the Fountain Valley Democratic Club. Her education stemmed from 16 years of education. Inge’s hobbies were traveling, knitting, ceramics, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Viewing: Saturday November 8, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Dove-Witt. Service: Sunday November 9, 2:00 PM at Soldiers Memorial Chapel, Fort Carson. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Everyone is invited
