

Kelly L. Barlow passed away Oct 15, 2016 at Pikes Peak Hospice with his wife Tammy by his bedside in Colorado Springs, Co. Kelly was born in Lamar Co, July 15, 1952. He graduated High School in Syracuse Ks, then lived in Garden City Ks. before moving to Colorado Springs in 1985. Kelly worked for the City of Fountain for 31 years as a Lineman then he worked his way up to General Foreman. He became a Chaplain in Oct. 2004 then later started a Prison Ministry in 2005 at the Youth Offender System in Pueblo Co.
Kelly has touched so many lives. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and laugh. He was a very hard working man and loved his work. He loved horses, roping and motorcycles. Family and friends meant the world to him. He was a great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Kelly was always playing jokes and making people laugh. He never met a stranger and welcomed everyone. He was always willing to impart his knowledge and share his personal experiences. If you were hurting he was always willing to help in any way possible. He is loved by all and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Barlow, his 6 children, Kiya (Travis) Hanson, Eric (Heather) Ivey, Courtney (Andrew) Nelson, Dallas (Adria) Ivey, Nicole (Johnny Hudson) Henderson, Bailey (Jeff Hager) Perez. Kelly was also blessed with 12 grandchildren. Also his mother Chloe Bergner, sisters Rickie (Ward) Nairn, Robin (Mark) Thompson and Shawna Barlow and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death his father Richard Barlow, infant brother Michael “Shane” Barlow and stepfather Bill Bergner.
Celebration of life will be held Friday Oct. 21, 2016 at Pikes Peak Christian Church @ 1 pm. The Graveside Service will be held in Hartman Co. Oct. 22nd, 2016 @ 1pm.
