Larry Clinton Busch
Larry Busch of Colorado Springs, CO went home to the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Larry was born to Clinton and Agnes Busch on June 9, 1943. Larry grew up in Yoder, CO and graduated High School in 1961. He was a carpenter by trade and worked in construction all over Colorado and Wyoming. Larry married A. Carol Bivins in November 1964. He was proceeded in death by his mother, father and brother. Larry is survived by his wife Carol Busch, son Thomas Busch of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter Theresa Cruz and her husband Joseph, granddaughter Katelyn Cruz and grandson Owen Cruz of Rockwall, TX.
Memorial Service will be held at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, CO on Friday November 20, 2020 at 11am, with a small reception by invite only. The graveside service will be private.

I remember Uncle Larry as such a tall, handsome man and I thought that he and elfin Aunt Carol were the cutest couple, with their two tow-headed kids: Thomas and Theresa. I remember when my mom, Betty Aderholdt, and my aunt, Sara Morgan Lewis (Carol's two sisters) drove all the way to Colorado from Weaver, Alabama for a visit with their four kids smushed into the back seat. (Tina and Tim Morgan and Michelle and myself) We kids slept on the floor in the living room at Aunt Carol's and Uncle Larry's house. Uncle Larry had to step over us, using long strides, to get from his front door to the rest of his house. Uncle Larry was a kind, gentle soul. He will be missed by those who loved him.

I met Larry Busch when he married my sister, Carol Bivins. They were married at our house in Colorado Springs in 1964. I remember what a good carpenter he was.

I have know Larry(Dad) for most of my life. He always treated me like I was his own son. I will miss him greatly. Love you Dad.

Last Christmas we came and visited Papa and he finally took me into his woodshop out back. When I was little I was never allowed back there and it was so cool being able to see all his hard and talented work. It's a moment I will never forget.
