Leslie Roy Barclay Sr., 65, of Fountain, passed away Tuesday 12 December 2017. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on 14 December 1951. Leslie was married to Carol Thomas-Barclay on 25 April 1981. They were married for 37 and a half years.
Leslie was a two war veteran, (Vietnam and Desert Storm). He served 24 years in the US Army, had a career as a roofer, and OTR truck driving with Warner and First Fleet. He had a passion for designing and building with his hands, and loved being with his family and his grandchildren.
He is survived by William Barclay, Sr. and his wife Lydia, JohnTaylor Barclay and his wife Jessica, William Barclay Jr., Caylee Barclay, Shane Barclay, Hailey Barclay, Richard Barclay, and Meredith Barclay Perry-Hull.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 a.m., 3 January 2018 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, with a rosary at 9:30 a.m.
