Steven Steve Mark Ryberg

Steve was born July 2, 1954 in Dayton, OH, to Lester and Mildred Ryberg.

He was a Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal.

Steve was a talented artist and an Executive Chef, known for his fabulous meals he shared with many friends and family members through the years.

In 2008, when Steve became too sick to continue working, he was the General Manager for Sonic on Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO. Prior to that he had managed several other restaurants including Wendy's, Good Times, and Culvers.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Paula Martin Ryberg, daughter Ashley Ryberg (Bobby Sanders) of Hilliard, OH, sons Corey (Keri) Ryberg and Ben Ryberg of Fountain, CO; granddaughters Kaylee Ryberg, Lilah Ryberg, Harli Jones and Justice Sanders, and grandson Sammy Jones; brother Randy (Debbie) Ryberg of Kettering, OH and sister Leslie (George) Kosta of Dayton, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, father, and stepmother, Aliene Ryberg.

A Memorial Service and celebration of Steve's life was held at Metcalf Park on the baseball diamond on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
