Veronica Roberts Miller

Veronica was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched every life she encountered. She lived with grace, loved deeply, and found joy in caring for those she cherished. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She went to South Lenoir High School.

Veronica is survived by her devoted husband, Wiley Jasper Miller; her children, Vanessa R. Martin, Ronnie J. Miller (Heather), and Tyrel A. Miller (Esmeralda); her sister Delores R. Miller; and her brothers David T. Roberts and Kelvin K. Roberts. She was a proud grandmother to Dominique, Kyandra, Dylhon (Hannah) Martin, Jada, TyShawn, and Jasmine Miller, and a loving great-grandmother to Gabe, Ella, Arabella, Amir, and Zakai. She was an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews, had many cousins, and a slew of friends, including her special friend Debra Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert E. Roberts, and Dorthy M. Roberts, as well as her brothers Michael Roberts, Aubrey Roberts, Wilbert Roberts Jr., and her sister Audrey Roberts.

Those who knew Veronica will remember her warmth, her strong personality, her patience, and her ability to make others feel cared for and understood. Her presence brought comfort, and her love remains a lasting gift to her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.

A visitation will be held at Dove Witt Family Mortuary, on December 5, 2025 at 10:00 am, with funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
