Wayne Phillips

Wayne Phillips was born in Canton, Texas on November 2, 1934. He was the fourth of six children born to Archie and Annie Phillips. He went to his external home on November 4, 2016.

Wayne graduated from Canton High School in 1954. He attended three years of college at Tyler Junior College.

He married Gloria Eleanor Larwin on December 3, 1960. He was a custom home builder for over 40 years and did many home repairs and restorations as port of his own business. He was very active in servicing others at different churches throughout the years and deeply loved the Lord.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his children, Paul (Vicki) Phillips and Cheri (Chuck) Cubbison and his grandchildren, Brittny (Zachary) Balside and Brent (Eileen) Phillips. He also leaves behind two brothers and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death b y his parents, two sisters and a brother.

Memorial Services will be held 10 AM Friday, November 11, 2016 . at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Rd. Colorado Springs, Co. With Pastors Darrin Ronde and Rick Dettling officiating
