She was born on June 12, 1932 in Fredericksburg, VA the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Garner) Allen. Anna was a retired Office Manager for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
Anna believed in working hard. She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed feeding the cows on the farm.
Her husband, Robert “Bobby” Earl Cox preceded her in death.
Survivors include her nephew, William G. Allen, Jr and wife Linda of Fruitland, IA and their children and grandchildren; niece, Linda Thompson of Lothian, MD; special friend, Basil “Red” Burruss and wife Nancy of Fredericksburg, VA; and all of her schoolmates and newfound friends in Maryland.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg where a funeral service will be held at 1:00pm with Rev. John Hodgen officiating.
