Brenda was a remarkable woman whose devotion to family, work, and simple joys of life touched everyone who knew her. She shared 47 loving years of marriage, with her husband, David. Together they built a life rooted in commitment, laughter, and love. Her family was the very breath she breathed.
She loved being outdoors. Some of her most treasured times were spent camping, being on the lake with family, or simply sitting on the porch on a quiet evening. She cherished visits with family in Monterey and Blugrass, Virginia, and Garrett County, Maryland. The visits were never rushed and time there was always time well spent. It filled her soul with joy and created memories that will be treasured forever.
A woman of dedication and integrity, she proudly served Spotsylvania County for 31 years, earning the respect of colleagues and leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Above all, she will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love for family, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Her beautiful soul is a legacy that lives on through the family she nurtured, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
