He is survived by his five siblings, Dorothy Howard, Lois Wingard, Betty Lou Russ, Faye Tolbert, and John Gills; two nieces, Phyllis Gardner and Helen Creel and husband Albert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg at 11:00 am, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
