Daniel Aubrey Maize

Danny was born January 19, 1961 in Richmond, VA; he was a kind and caring family man who loved music and hunting. Danny was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1655 in Fredericksburg, VA and Green Springs Hunt Club in Louisa, VA.

He is survived by his loving mother Betty McKenney Oakley of Elizabeth City, NC and was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Maize of Richmond, VA, his step-father, Epp Oakley, of Elizabeth City, NC and a nephew, Jon Everett of Locust Grove, VA.

Danny leaves behind his beloved wife, Gloria Fay Maize, step children Harry Mills Jr. and his wife Lynn, Gloria Fisher and her husband Danny, a brother Michael Maize, sister Robin Hamby and her husband Mike, sister Tracy Moore, brother-in-law Sammy Ownley, sister and brother-in-law Margaret Bowen and Jimmy, sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Wayne Gilkerson, brother and sister-in-law Manuel and Debbie Trevino, brother and sister-in-law Paul and Bev Trevino, brother and sister-in-law Rudy and Jen Trevino. Aunts Sarah Staton and her husband Ed Ray and Peggy Powell and her husband Norman.

Danny leaves nephews Shane Maize, Jorden Ownley, Tanner Maize, Zakk Trent, Martin Gilkerson, Paul Trevino Jr., Thomas Trevino, Manuel Trevino Jr., Rudy Trevino Jr., Josh Trevino and Christopher Trevino; nieces Meghan Ownley, Barbara Ann Everett, Michelle Saunders, Stacey Bilyeu, Christie Trevino and Emily Trevino; grandchildren Harry Mills lll, Timothy Steinmetz lll, Ashley Yow, Danny Fisher lll, Bradley Fisher, Bella Fisher, Wyatt Fisher, Reese Fisher, Blakelynn Fisher, Logan Yow and Waylon Steinmetz.
